Research Training Group
Heterogeneity, Risk, and Dynamics in Economic Systems The research training group Heterogeneity, Risk, and Dynamics in Economic Systems /(1707/1) is embedded into the organizational infrastructure of the Bonn Graduate School of Economics (BGSE).
The research program aims at the development and empirical testing of economic models which explicitly take into account the heterogeneity of economic agents and which can represent economic institutions which are the result of such heterogeneity or which are created in order to address its economic consequences. These models will be useful to study the consequences of heterogeneity for the dynamic behavior of economic systems and their risk-absorbing capacity. The research program combines methodological projects addressing the econometric, statistical and micro economic foundations with more applied projects in macroeconomics, labor economics, and finance. speaker: Prof. Dr. Jürgen von Hagen Mail: vonhagen(at)uni-bonn.de
