briq visiting Professor Program starts in January 2018

The briq Institute on Behavior & Inequality established the new briq Visiting Professor Program in order to promote international networking in the fields of behavioral economics and inequality research. The program has already attracted five outstanding researchers: Roland Bénabou (Princeton University), Stefano DellaVigna (UC Berkeley), Botond Kőszegi (Central European University), George Loewenstein (Carnegie Mellon University) and Ulrike Malmendier (UC Berkeley). Each professor will visit briq for a stay of up to four weeks of the year, over the next five years.

For further information please see https://www.briq-institute.org/people#researchers.

During their research stays, briq Visiting Professors will present their current work at public events and offer office hours for local researchers. In this way, we aim to foster an environment of dynamic academic collaboration, especially with the Department of Economics at the University of Bonn. The first briq visiting professor, Botond Kőszegi will arrive early January (08/01 - 12/01), followed shortly after by George Loewenstein (15/01 – 26/01) and Roland Bénabou (28/01 - 02/02).
