The Women in Economics Initiative (WiE),is an organization established in 2019 to advance gender equality in the field of economics. WiE's goal is to encourage equal opportunity and balanced representation of genders in the economics profession across the academic, business and public sectors. Together with the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, they are organizing two panel discussions via Zoom.

Despite the economic, organisational, and societal benefits associated with more gender diverse environments, inclusion remains a challenge for institutions and corporations internationally. In this online panel discussion, we’ll hear from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (BGSE) alumni about their professional experiences of gender inequality and their views on why many workplaces still have such uninspired responses.
