RTG 2281 Summer School 2021

The research training group "The Macroeconomics of Inequality" will host another summer school this year. Like in the last year, the summer school will have to be virtual and will take place from June 21 to July 01.

We are happy to announce that Marco Bassetto and Jonathan Heathcote (both Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis)  will be this year's lecturers. Marco and Jonathan are two outstanding lecturers and internationally renowned scholars regarding the macroeconomics of inequality. Their research has shaped the field. In their research, they combine empirical analysis with theoretical models to address some of the most important questions in economic research today.

The summer school runs for two weeks from Monday to Friday. Due to the time difference to Minneapolis, sessions will be in the afternoon. There will be two days of student presentations and one day of office hours with the lecturers. The presentation and office hour sessions give the participants the unique opportunity to present and discuss their research with the two lectures. They will provide them with very valuable feedback and ideas to their work and how to improve it further.
